After three weeks, 42 games, heartbreak, joy and a whole lot of goals, there is no doubt that with its fantastic football in the purest form, Euro 2008 has seen those of us who often get disillusioned with the ever increasing overseas influence, money, politics and regulations in the leagues around Europe -fall in love with the beautiful game all over again.
For many Euro 2008 has provided no fairy-tale ending, no usual suspects final match-up, and above all no chance for prediction as those who we thought might just make it have been stopped in their tracks only to get an early fight home- so it is with joy and anticipation that it comes down to the finals of them all with the might of Germany about to take on the deft of touch Spain in a bid to be crowned European Champions 2008!
